Climate Leadership Conference in Detroit

Today, tomorrow, and Friday, I’ll be attending the Climate Leadership Conference in Detroit. The conference will bring together practitioners working in climate adaptation, resilience, and sustainability from around the country to the Paris of the Rust Belt to talk about the most pressing issues.

The program includes a rockstar lineup including James Chen, Vice President of Public Policy at Rivian, former EPA Administrator William K. Reilly, and award-winning Georgia Tech professor and climate science advocate Kim Cobb. The event will be held at the Westin Book Cadillac.

EVENT: As part of the conference proceedings, I am also co-hosting a happy hour tonight with the American Society of Adaptation Professionals. The event will begin at 6:30pm at the historic Grand Trunk Pub, 612 Woodward Ave., Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit. Tickets are $5 for ASAP members and top-tier Patreon subscribers and $12 for mere mortals.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone. I also look forward to highlighting some of the important work being done in Detroit on climate adaptation and resilience.
